Patricia Louise Eggers, 77, of Seattle passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 peacefully at her home. She was born December 26, 1934 in Spokane, WA the 5th of seven children of Albert and Emmalita Kelly. She leaves us with her legacy of strength, love and devotion to family. Patricia was a graduate of Marycliff High School in Spokane and the San Francisco School of Dental Nursing. In 1958 she was elected Miss Spokane and served as an elegant ambassador for the city. After her successful reign, she went on to be the Executive Secretary for the Spokane County Republican Headquarters and later Caucus Secretary for the Republican State Senate during the 1961 legislative session. It was during this session she met her future husband, then caucus attorney Arthur Eggers. Later she served as Chief Public Relations Officer for the 1962 Worlds Fair in Seattle where she handled all information requests and coordinated Seattle Worlds Fair participation in conventions and activities throughout the United States. Art and Patsy married and moved to Walla Walla where Art was the Prosecuting Attorney for 25 years. They were a dynamic couple very active in the community and enjoyed the wonderful company of their many friends. Patsy served as President of The Junior Club and a member of the Four Seasons Club. Later she opened and operated the successful Fishmarket Restaurant, voted "Best of the Northwest" in 1984 by Northwest Best Places. She and Art retired to Seattle where she took on another ...
