Gracie still has about a year and half of chemo therapy left, but is progressing wonderfully. Because of the family's commitment to the voluntary blood donor program James' National Guard unit had a blood drive in honor of Gracie in December 2003. And a family friend organized a blood drive for Gracie in February of 2004. -Story 2- In June of 1996, James married his high school sweetheart Heather. In 2000, their pride and joy, Gracie, was born. When she was three years old, Gracie was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has heroically battled leukemia twice since then. She is now seven years old.
